About Me

I achieved a Diploma in Nursing (Children) in 2000 and then started my role as a paediatric nurse at a local hospital, where I have worked for 18 years.

In 2006, I was awarded a BSc(Hons) in Professional Nursing Practice and I have since continued my work as a children’s nurse while also lecturing at the University of Manchester.

In 2012, I achieved my Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification, and then went on to complete my first aesthetic training course on Harley Street, London. I have continued to attend various aesthetic and skincare training courses to further my skills and knowledge.

I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and adhere to the strict guidelines and standards set out in this code. I am a member of CMAC (Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative), and hold full aesthetics insurance.

So why did I choose a career in aesthetics?

My first non-surgical cosmetic experience was in 2010. I remember it so well! I had decided to have anti-wrinkle injections and attended a salon to see an aesthetic nurse. I was SO nervous as I did not know what to expect and had niggling worries about the outcome. Each day following my treatment, I would get up and head straight to the mirror....smiling, frowning and raising my eyebrows! Within a few days, I noticed the effects of my treatment and I LOVED it!

I started to feel happier with my appearance and in turn, my confidence was given a boost.

I had always been interested in aesthetics but had never given thought to training in this area.

During my next couple of visits, I started asking my aesthetic nurse numerous questions regarding aesthetic training. The rest is history!

I continue to really enjoy my Paediatric Nursing role, and try to work regular agency shifts. Running my own business means that I can work around my family life...my husband and 2 young daughters.

I absolutely love meeting new patients and keeping in touch with current patients.

I feel passionate about helping men and women feel happy and confident in the way they look. There is no better feeling than seeing or hearing how pleased my patients are with their treatments!

My recent interest in menopause and ageing has given me an extra feeling of satisfaction, as I can completely empathise with this, often stressful, time of life. I'm enjoying advising these women on ways to rebuild their confidence and regain that 'fresh face' appearance.
